I intend to be out of town for about 5-6 weeks this summer and I have a small dog who cannot accompany me. I am looking to sublet the apartment connected to my home for the summer 2023 school session, May 22nd-Aug 11th (actually available May 1st if required). My dog is a 2-year-old rescue, hypoallergenic, and is nervous around alot of people. Applicant must be comfortable around dogs and be available to walk him at least once per day, feed him, and play with him when I am out of town. The apartment is a unique loft space, with sleeping above and living space below. The space has a bed, TV, small refrigerator, microwave, desk & chair, closet, sofa, and chest of drawers. The apartment will be completely cleaned for a renter, so disregard the stuff that you see in the photos, I use this space for various projects. The apartment has a separate entrance from the outside and opens directly onto the kitchen on the inside. The applicant has their own bathroom located inside the home, plus unrestricted access to the kitchen, laundry, and backyard. I even have an old bike to get to and from the campus if needed. Because of the additional responsibility of caring for the dog when I am away, and the short amount of time that it will be available, I am offering the apartment to a single renter at the reduced rate of $900.00/ month, which would be prorated based on the actual dates the applicant stayed at the home.
