About Now Leasing at The Sheldon!
SUSTAINABILITY
The Sheldon's transformation from dilapidated structure to a thriving 13-unit urban community was conducted with a focus on sustainability. To ensure that the renovation of the building had a low environmental impact, the original building was largely preserved and construction materials were salvaged whenever possible.
Sustainable features at the Sheldon include:
Solar Electric System
In 2020 a 16.2 kW Solar Electric System was installed on the roof of The Sheldon.
The yearly impact of generating this clean energy is the environmental equivalent of growing 248 trees for 10 years, or not driving a car 37,194 miles.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
