Collection of Personal Identifiable Information

You are not required to provide any personally identifiable information to visit the Site. We automatically collect Usage Data (as described below) and may collect ZIP codes and other information in connection with your use of the Site (e.g., the type of apartment and/or sublet you are looking for). We also publish phone numbers for many of the apartment and/or sublet listings on the Site. By dialing one of these phone numbers, you consent to the Site or a service provider operating on the Site’s behalf recording the date, time and length of your call and the phone number from which the call originated, along with the call itself and other information that may be captured. Any Usage Data and/or personally identifiable information resulting from such calls may be used as described in this Statement, including for follow up marketing purposes. The types of personally identifiable information collected will depend on the nature of the submission or the features of the Site used, but could include your name, address, phone number, and/or email address.

Passive Information Collection

The Site automatically collects information and may also customize your visit through technical means, including Cookies, Web Beacons and IP Address Logs.

  8. facilitate your ability to make payments to third parties through the Site, should you choose to do so;

Information Sharing

Affiliates. We may disclose your information to our subsidiaries and other affiliates for the purposes described in this privacy policy. We are the party responsible for the management of the information jointly used by us and our affiliates.

Customers. We may disclose your information to our customers. For example, when you click on “Schedule a Tour” regarding a property on our Service, then we will share your contact information with the customer (i.e., property management company) for that property. Also, when you use our Site to send a message or make an Internet-based call to a property, then we will share your message and contact information with the business customer for that property.

Service Providers. We may disclose your information to certain third parties to process such information on our behalf as our service providers, including to manage our contacts and send out email and other messages on our behalf, to assist us in creating new features and improving the way the Service works and looks, and to provide website hosting and serving, storage, maintenance, technical, security, performance tracking, business analytics, and marketing analytics services.

We provide our service providers with only the information necessary for them to perform the services we request, and we ask our service providers not to use such information for any purpose other than as specified by us.

Our third party service providers who provide web usage analytics for our Services (i.e., Google Analytics) may also use your information to provide you with more personalized advertising content on other websites and applications.

Third-Party Marketing Providers. We may provide your information, including contact information, to third-party organizations for their use in marketing or promoting products or services that they believe may be of interest to you based on your use of the Service, such as moving-related services and renters’ insurance services.

Mobile Applications

Location Information. Your location is obtained from the mobile device or the network, or directly from you, and is used to search for information you may need – including local searches for rental properties. When we execute such searches on your behalf we do not transfer your identity or personally identifiable information to third parties, other than the rental property owners. This information is not used to create a profile about you or your activities. Your location is only stored in the app if you save your location (rental property) searches and may be deleted by you by clearing your search history. Location coordinates are shared with our geocoding service provider (such as Google Maps) only to perform the task of providing maps and directions per your request. Other information about your device. We collect non-personally identifiable information from your mobile device in order to provide our services to you. Information may include device type and mobile service carrier. No information, including location information, is shared with any third parties for marketing purposes. Our apps do not interact or share information with any other applications installed on your mobile device.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information
