A message from the owner:
This project was treated with as much respect and consideration to the existing community as possible. The scope of renovations would have been easier to tear the dilapidated structure down. However, the restoration of this mid-century property simultaneously satisfied personal artistic ambitions and kept the character of the immediate neighborhood. The original brick facade, roofing structure, and concrete foundation were salvaged and restored. Construction was done by a local contractor who employs current South Park residents. Neighborhood trade was used as often as possible throughout construction. Restoring this classic mid-century building was not only obligatory to the neighborhood but was nothing less than a complete honor. Welcome to the neighborhood and The Yacht Club.
