PARENTS AND DOG OWNERS STAY AWAY. ROCKLEDGE FAIRWAYS ALLOWS UNREGISTERED, UNVACCINATED DOGS TO MAUL RESIDENTS. Words can't describe how much of a disgace this apartment complex is. My girlfriend and I signed up for a 15 month lease and in that amount of time just about every problem you could imagine relating to an apartment happened. Let me just go down the list. -First and foremost, a few months before our lease was up i was attacked by an off leash pitbull while I was walking my dog in the complex, badly enough to require a hospital visit. After reporting it to the office and providing the owners name, apartment and phone number in order to get proof of rabies vaccination we never heard back from them until we had to call animal control. It wasn't until animal control came out that they finally told us that the dog was not registered with the office (a requirement for move in) and they couldn't find a proof of vaccination (again, a requirement to move in). So there's the level of competency you're dealing with in the office. -walls are paper thin. I'm not talking "hear someone in your same apartment", im talking hear whats happening in the apartment next door 24/7" thin. -AC went out twice, once during the middle of summer -parking is a cruel joke, literally one space per apartment. No 2 car families allowed here. -for 10 out of the 15 months that we lived there there was a huge construction project that took out the pool and basically every amenity they listed. Might have been ok if the final product was something besides an ugly looking office building that looks nothing like all the other apartments. Maybe instead of pouring money into a new office for themselves they should have invested it in refurbishing and updating the horribly outdated apartments they are trying to hawk. Guess it goes to show where their prioties are. All in all the people that work here should be embarrassed. For the prices they are charging (1700+ for rent and fees for a 2 bedroom) there are at least 5 other apartments a stones throw away from this slum that have much better amenities and living conditions. Save yourself the headache and steer far way from this place. ...
