I show up with all of my belongings on the day Im supposed to move in. Management tells me that they miscommunicated the date and that the apartment is not ready. They did not even offer to put somewhere temporarily. After I asked and argued with them,
they put my family and I in a one bedroom that smelled like dead fish, wet dog and a smokers heaven. We were to stay there for 9 DAYS! until our apartment was ready. They did not offer any kind of compensation whatsoever. When I asked to get a look at our apartment that we would be getting they said "NO". I wonder why? Becasue it was another complete pig sty! Nearly everything was broken or dirty. There are a ton of kids that live in these apartments so it is noise and party central. Good luck finding parking within a quarter mile of your apartment. 8 months after I moved out, I got a call from a collection agency claiming that I did not pay my last water bill. Yet again, another mistake made by the management (lack there of). After clearing up their mistake by proving I paid all my bills, I decided to write this review. I hope that anyone reads this will believe me when I say that the 6 months I spent in IRAQ with the USMC was a much better than staying at Archstone AIRHEADS.
I rented from fall '06 through winter '07.
