I really enjoy living at Entrada Real. It is a student based community that offers affordable living and is less than a mile from campus. Any grocery store, shopping area, or food place that I’ve wanted to go to is within 15 minutes of the apartment. There is a gym, as well as a pool, and a business center at the community. Agree with the majority of the recent poor reviews about the front office manager and support staff, no respect for the tenants and the use of high pressure sales tactics to nickel and dime people. Beware of the lease termination and re-let policy that lock tenants into an agreement with no cancellation policies. Complex is not BBB accredited and has no desire to gain trust and integrity as a business. Students and parents need to look elsewhere for a safer and better managed apartment complex. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This is the worst establishment. First off when we moved in we moved into an apartment filled with dead spiders and bugs. Next all 4 of our keys were wrong, some opened all doors, some didn't open any. And since theres 2 locations management made us drive back and forth between the two several times because every time they gave us more wrong keys. And i never got my amenities key back from them and when i told them they didn't give it to me they didn't believe me and assumed i lost in and ill be paying to replace it. The furniture is the cheapest oldest ugliest pieces of shit. Every single one of all for of our dresser drawers broke within the first week. There are 2 locations and only 1 with an office so when we toured the place before moving in we saw the location we were not going to be at but were told everything was going to be the same, like furniture and such.. LIES. The second location did not have the nice new furniture or the study room with computers or printers. THERE IS NO SAFETY WHAT SO EVER. First of all our friends car got broken into and was robbed hundreds of dollars worth of items. and all management had to say was "call the police theres nothing we can do." next a bike got stolen inside of our 6ft fence and that was locked up right outside of my window. "File a police report, theres nothing we can do" was all we got from management. MY ROOMMATE WAS ALMOST MUGGED GETTING OUT OF HER CAR. LUCKILY SHE FOUGHT BACK AND WASNT HURT OR WORSE. The police were called on the spot and Entrada was informed but once again NOTHING. After a few more car break in's they decided to "up the security" BY PUTTING NEW BRIGHTER LIGHT BULBS IN THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS.... Has not done anything besides make it very hard to fall asleep with a bright light shining in my window. We were told there will be security guards at night on site... its a man in a car that drives through the complex every couple hours. The only time he's ever been seen is when he's knocking at your door telling you to be quite when you're doing absolutely nothing. Don't buy into their lies about how secure and safe their properties are. I had called management many times in the beginning of my lease to voice my concerns and ask them to do certain things but it never got done so i had to contact American Campus, the company that owns Entrada and other communities around the nation, just so i could get simple answers. Everything here is a piece of crap, the people, the furniture, the appliances, the plumbing. my roommate and i had our toilets fixed for plumbing and were unable to use them for 3 days. But they still do not work and don't flush even with one tissue in it. The warmer my shower is the less water comes out so by the time its to a temperature i can actually shower in theres a small stream coming out that i have to stand against the wall that the shower head is on in order to be under the water. Of all 4 rooms mine is clearly the smallest by FAR. everyone else has great sized rooms that they can rearrange and move their furniture while mine is so small i am unable to move anything or else the furniture would block doors. Don't expect to get everything in the model. Expect crummier floors, different couches and chairs. The location is great. The grounds at the University location are kept up while the grounds at Park and Lester are not. Your car will not get broken into as long as you don't leave anything in it. ALL people who I talked to got thier car broken into because they left an iPod etc. visible. The landlord is absolutely horrible. I treated her with respect the entire year only to be treated like crap at the very end. You will not get all of your deposit back...I am the cleanest person I know and I was charged over 100 dollars in "cleaning fees". This is owned by a large investment company and believe me...they will rip you off whenever possible. Maintenance was great, especially if you say hello to them and offer them water etc when they come in. At park and lester your car won't get towed...I've even called them trying to get an illegally parked car towed and they never came. I rented from fall '07 through summer '08. ...

MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. though this is not the only complaint i have with this place. Two of my roommates cars have been broken into and our apartment was broken into. when we asked management to increase security, they said it was our fault. Their unacceptable parking signs caused my friends car to get towed. When we went to the office to complain about the signs, the manager said she was too busy to see us because she was on her way to her house. when i told her that the parking lot needed better and more accurate placement of their signs, she told me that she didn't have to do anything i told her to do. and then she told me to leave. no lie.. she told me to get out. don't live here. management does not take responsibility for anything, if it is vaguely mentioned in the contract, "its not (their) problem". if you are a resident here, you become a number. as far as i am concerned i am paying to live here, that means management is working for me. i won't be treated like that by my own employee. don't live here. I wish I could give the management a negative rating; not only is the office poorly informed but they treat their residents like absolute crap. I rented from fall '06 through fall '07.
