The apartment has some very nice features like stainless steal appliances and a garbage disposal, things that are hard to find in SF. The landlord kind of lurks, cause he doesn't have a job, but he seems nice and if there is a problem with the house he knew before I did and fixed it the day of (he replaced the water heater before I even noticed it was broken) The crappy part: hell scam you on the deposit. He seems like a nice guy, but he charge me and my roommate 300$ for cleaning the apt. and then another 160$ for 'window washing', which is not my responsibility especially since it is a 3 unit apt. Also his coin op laundry is BS, he says he takes some money off the water bill to cover it, but at $4 a load, subtracting $8 off my water bill isn't really helping, it's more a mockery. Overall the apartment is spacious and has a good location, but its smelly, overpriced, has poor insulation and you can here your friends breathing in the other room, and the landlord is a sneak. ...
