The apartment is quite old, but the rooms are huge! Because the complex is so old, the windows and walls are pretty thin, which means you can hear your neighbors, whether they be downstairs or next door, and the insulation is horrible. Some appliances have been replaced recently (dishwasher, oven, stovetop), but the sink, shower, bathroom sink, etc. have consistently been clogged (Drain-o hasn't really worked, but at least nothing has flooded yet). The manager has been accommodating (she let us move in two days early for free and put our stuff in the apartment while it was being cleaned). The apartment is being remodeled, so it looks nicer overall, especially because the layout for the 2B/1B flat is super roomy. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...
