First off, RATS! They have RATS! They'll claim it's a "citywide infestation," but in reality, they're too lazy to take real action. There are several tiny gaps in the building that allow rodents to enter. Although I haven't personally experienced it, I've heard that rats are living in the walls and can be heard in your apartment. I spent a year living here, and it was a horrible experience. My initial complaint was that, while I hadn't moved in yet, I discovered when I went to my apartment that no cleaning had been done. There was no shower head or no balcony shades either. Still, nothing was done to my apartment on the day I moved in. It was still really not prepared. I was unaware that a thorough inspection had not been done. It was a terrible first few months of living here. Not one, but two rats happened to me. In my one-bedroom apartment, there were multiple wall gaps that required me to submit maintenance requests in order to fix. The management is slow to react to problems and has no idea how to solve them. Give their office a call. They make it hard to get someone on the phone, and you have to keep calling. They did help eventually when I had my rat problems, but they took their time and acted incompetent on how to solve anything. It took persistent nagging to get them to finally send an exterminator out. The whole apartment stinks! The first floor always spelled like something died and every day was a new smell. The whole upkeep of this building is horrible. There's always trash on the table in the lobby, the trash area was always an overflowing mess that included a community of rats, there were ceiling leaks, frequent elevator issues, stained lobby/hallway carpets, dog poop everywhere outside and pee in the elevators, packages being left everywhere, and there was a point in time where we had no entryway door. Your money is not worth it for this place. KEEP LOOKING!! Save up for a better place, please! If you're reading this, trust me and the other negative reviews—they're all true!! ...
