Stay away they lie and match you w/the opposite of what u asked for....not a good time Carpet stinks they don't care Dirty hotel vibes You pay your hard earned dollars to get NOTHING So frustrating when u are from out of town

Don’t live here students of Tallahassee. This was one of the worse students housings I ever stayed at. The stairwells constantly smell like pee. Rent is expensive for no reason. And you have to pay an ADDITIONAL 75 DOLLARS A MONTH JUST TO PARK YOUR CAR ON THE PROPERTY. I was forced to park in street parking and it’s competitive to find close parking. Sometimes I have to park past the grave yard by the church. My car was even hit by drunk college students who were driving and hit my car that was parked in the public street parking. The fire alarm goes off at LEAST once a week at 2 in the freaking morning. The trash shoot is always over flowed. The hallways have old food on the floor and holes in the wall. I was fooled during the tour. They show things like the movie theater and game room to glamorize the housing but it’s not even necessary. As students you will not have time to use it. Remove it and lower the rent!!!!! It’s ridiculous. I’m upset I spent my last year in school here. There’s dog poop in the area where the pool is. Students don’t pick up after their dogs and onyx doesn’t enforce it. The rooms doesn’t even come with storage space. The list goes on but save your money and don’t move here!!! ...

the location is great but it takes forever for them to fix any of the common area amenities. the hot tub hasn't worked for over two months and with the cold weather that would have been great to chill in. another example is that the ordered grills and those haven't been finished and ben sitting useless for two weeks now. ...

The location is great and you'd think itd be worth every other disappointment at Onyx. Please save your money it is not worth it. Management sucks, they never get back to you, they never get anything done. There is 0 consistency. I still have not received compensation for the floods earlier this year. The elevators are ALWAYS broken and trashed. Drunk residents trying to break in to your apartment, someone a floor below broke into mine and stole things and Onyx has done nothing and isnt doing anything to him. I rented from fall 2019 through summer 2020. ...
