Worst worst apartments in the entire world! I went 2 months without AC and more than that without my washer and dryer being fixed. This place is the apartments from hell. They put all kind of crazy people in the apartments to live with you. This is my 3rd year living here and I WILL NOT renew another lease! I would not recommend this place. Over 3 years, the managers changed 6-7 times. Nights were noisy (you'd better get used to sleeping with ear plugs), we regularly heard gunshots coming from the properties around us and I watched a drug deal by the car wash station one day. If you have a decent car, you'll find it covered in nicks and dings after a few weeks. Parking was usually ok, however, there were nights where there were big parties and so many cars came in, residents couldn't get parking spots. The model apartment you'll see will look great. However, the apartments are not maintained. Carpets need replacing, paint needs freshening up, stairwells are cracked and dirty...the set of stairs by my place was being held up by a pole. Oh, and walls are really thin....you'll hear everything your neighbour is doing. Maintenance is not reliable...unless things have changed, there is no 24 hour or weekend maintenance. Our air conditioner hadn't worked properly since we moved in....it would die in the middle of the summer on a Friday and we couldn't get in touch with anyone until the following week. They would come in and putter with it, but it was never fixed, which also drove our utility bills up. The pool was regularly dirty (the health department came in and shut it down at one point) and I don't remember a time that the hot tub wasn't green. Roommate matching was non-existent. I've lived with thugs, thieves, incredibly loud people, you name it. If you move in here, you'll have to watch management carefully...they will try to take advantage of you if you don't. I'm paying off the remainder of my lease since I had to relocate for a job (note that they will make you renew your lease a year in advance of its expiration if you want to keep your current rent, and there will be no clause in the lease that allows you to break it with a small penalty if something arises). They've apparently moved someone into the room that I'm leasing and paying for and are collecting double rent. There's currently a new manager and hopefully things will improve (this place was great when I first moved in) but right now, for slightly more than what you'd pay at Seminole Ridge, you can get a well kept apartment in a complex with security and 24 hour maintenance. If I did it again, I'd pay the extra money. I rented from winter '04 through spring '07. ...
