I have lived in the Balaye Apartment's for the last six years. Up until the last year things have been pleasant. However, this has taken a turn for the worse. First of all the gate that is supposed to keep people out has only worked about three months this year. When you question the office staff you get the canned "we are waiting on a part" response. REALLY!!!! I could have crafted it myself. The community lease states that they will maintain the common areas; This is how they Maintain the areas: - The breezeways have not been pressured washed in over two years. I called on 7/27/2009 and spoke with Hunter (office staff) He stated that they are not allowed to pressure wash because of the water restrictions. However, they could hire it out. TO DATE THEY HAVE NOT DONE THIS. I HAVE CONTACTED THE CEO TERRY CONSIDINE AND REGINA HARRIS 808-678-9565 AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING. There have been at least five emails to them with no resolution. - the gym has duct tape on the magnetic door, because they do not have any available magnetic keys available. NICE AND SAFE! - I had to call demand that gate get fixed! Their answer' Well we are now blessed with caution tape stretched across the resident's entrance while we await this "part". The most reprehensible of all. They placed a copy of what I thought was my lease in my door in an unsealed envelope. When I opened my lease to discover that it was someone else's I was horrified. With all of the privacy issues and identity theft that is out there, i was naturally concerned. I contacted the management office to advise that did not have my lease. It took FIVE PHONE CALLS BEFORE ANYONE ASKED FOR IT BACK. AIMCO appears to treat protected information with no regard for their clients information.
