The province is a fun place to live with a very communal feeling. I have had some problems with the maintenance request either just not being processed or it taking maintenance a very long time to fulfill the work order.

Former Resident
While the accommodations themselves were very comfortable, I was unexpectedly moved to a different room, other than the one I was initially assigned, at the last moment. In my new room, I had a negative experience with one of my two roommates, and ended
up moving out five months later. I would recommend The Province's multi-person rooms to those with excellent social skills only. If you are quieter and more conflict-avoidant like myself, I would suggest only moving into one of their single occupancy rooms.

They will charge you a fee for EVERYTHING. Not only is it overpriced but it is common to have electric overages. On top of that, they fine you if you have anything other than 2 chairs on the balcony (it's our balcony, we're paying for it, they shouldn't
tell us what we can/can't have on it!). They also charge you a fee if you lock your keys in your room and they take their sweet time to come unlock your door for you. They'll charge you $50 for being ONE day late on rent and $5/day after that. They do "inspections" a lot which is such an invasion of privacy b/c they don't even give you a specific time they'll be tromping around your apartment. They are just rude and don't care about the residents.
I rented from fall 10 through summer 11.
