Oh my goodness! What just happened to me' I felt like crying on my way back home after leaving the leasing office. I went to the leasing office of Caliber Brooke Apartments in Smyrna, Ga. to see if my husband and I could live there. I met the older lady named Cindy. I told her I wanted to find out about renting an apartment and she said she could help me. She did not seem like she was busy at all. So, she showed me the floor plan and a brochure of the community and asked me what my price range was. I told her 700 bucks and she said "well, I suggest you go to promove because they have better deals than we do for your price range" even if my price was more than enough for their one bedroom. I didn't need anything bigger. Ok' So, I ignored her unwillingness to promote her business and keep her job; I asked her. "Can I see a model home for your 1br and 2brs apartments'" Guess what she said. She said "do you want to run it back later' I have to go feed a cat." I was shocked. Me being unusually patient, I asked her "so is there anyone else that can show me the place'" She said no. I told her that was pretty weird. She started to raise her voice saying that she had not fed the cat for a long time and I quote "if you don't mind I have to go feed the cat now." I didn't know if I should have busted out crying or if I should have slap her. She was not busy feeding no cat when I came into that office. I could not believe it. The staff has issues. They are truly crazy and very rude. It is shocking to hear all the things everyone is saying about them online. ...

The management is completely insane... run like the wind. These apartments are not worth the price especially for ones under the flight plan for the airforce base!!! It is so loud!!!!! Why did the old manager David have to go?? We were great tenents and always paid on time. We moved out of state and were not there for the walk through. We got a bill for HUNDREDS of dollars in claims that were lies and then after ten days of recieving the letter/ bill they called and threatened us that they would send it to collections if they didn't receive by the end of the month. That was the 25th and the end of the month was the 31st!!!!!!!! There wasn't even a due date on the bill!!!!! The place turned so ghetto and cops are there all the time - you can do such much better!!!!! ...
