I moved here in Oct., and last week my car got broken into and my new navigation system was stolen. It turns out that 23 cars were broken into. I just found out today that this is the third time cars have been broken into in less than a year. Highland
Ridge's response to this incident was a letter saying that we need to be aware of our surroundings, keep our cars locked, and don't leave things out in plain view in our cars. That was some bull! The almost act as if they don't really care what happened. They haven't even offered to try to beef up security, which is currently nothing. I wouldn't recommend that you move here, unless you don't own a car.
