Roofs often leak; pipes in the walls break, and many units have mold and water damage. Dryer vents often do not work, which further exacerbates the mold problem, and also damages the dryer. Rats can be observed eating feces in the grass near the
dumpster, and in front of some units. The dumpster is often broken, or overflowing, and has a very foul odor; especially when it is surrounded by water and trash. Maintenance is often unable to fix problems and does not have adequate supplies or training to fix problems. Broken beer bottles and trash often litter the grounds. The pools are often dirty with green water in the summer, and broken glass and beer bottles are present on the cement walkways and lounging areas surrounding the pools. Huge potholes are present on the grounds, which damage residents' automobiles. Many air conditioners do not work ... and the usual indoor temperature in the winter is 55 to 60 degrees when the thermostat is turned up to 85 to 90 degrees. Management and mainteance turns over frequently which is a problem in term of follow through for ongoing maintenance problems. Many lights on the property are out, such as the light at the dumpster which has been out for more than 1.5 years, despite residents' ongoing requests for replacement of broken lights and light poles.
