First thing I am still living at this place, don't be fooled if they tell you "OH this person was evicted, that's why he's mad" because that's what they told me about their bad reviews when I came to live here. I am still living here and a good tenant who pays rent never late! My address is "1063 Blackberry Lane @ Dooley's orchard, Lewis Center" and my name is Malek if you want verification. I thought this would be a good place to live at since their rent is relatively high for what its worth, but again i was fooled and I hope you don't get fooled with it too! Whats BAD: 1. The place is old even if it looks nice from the outside! Inside everything is falling apart (SERIOUSLY). and the management is so cheap that they would never replace a thing even if it cost few dollars! they will keep trying to fix it even if it breaks the next day! 2. The maintenance department that contains no more than 2 employees, in fact they just hired the second guy couple months ago.. Another sad fact I haven't seen the new guy for a month now. So we are back to one maintenance guy who is supposed to fix everything in over couple hundreds of units! and if you think this is bad, listen to this.. The basic respond time for maintenance is at least one month.. then they will come and look at stuff fix the easiest things that doesn't require buying equipments and tell you they will come back in the next few days to fix the rest because they are out of that equipments needed! but they will never come back if its a major fix! hoping that you get tired of waiting and fix it yourself! 3. THE FREAKING TRAIN!! The train is close enough to shake your apt. everytime it runs by, and DON'T be fooled if the renting agent tells you "The trains runs couple times in the day time" because that what they told me! FACT: the train runs 10 times more in the NIGHT time, and i don't think it matter if you are a light or heavy sleeper! and if you have kids! you're gonna have long freaky NIGHTS i counted one night in the winter time it ran over 15 times! rumpling all night! say good buy to watching tv and movies because you will have to pause or rewind to be able to understand what they said when the train comes. This place is a NIGHTMARE I can't wait until my lease is up! 4. be prepared to live in a farm full of dog poop everywhere! The picture below shows the back of the neighbor and our porch covered in dog poop, and we have been complaining for months, but its still out there right now! I don't know about you, but i lived in much cheaper places that was quiet and better maintenance/management! But if you sign a lease here. GAME OVER for you!
