I would absolutely not recommend ever renting with AW & Sons. I had read prior reviews and thought I would take a chance with them. Terrible idea. Just last week, they called me at 8 AM to move my car from a legitimate parking spot because they all
of a sudden needed additional room for a dumpster. I went to my car later to find them throwing furniture and other things off a 3rd floor balcony right into the parking lot, not far from my car. They treat you extremely disrespectfully, coming in and out of your apartment to do "maintenance checks" with little or absolutely no warning. Furthermore, if you are moving out of your apartment, they make you remove everything from your walls, cabinets, closets, and countertops in order for them to hire a shoddy painting service. The painting service failed to do an entire wall and also splattered the kitchen table with paint. On that note, I had agreed to do an "early move out" so that I would not have to clean the apartment top to bottom before leaving. This gave AW & Sons nearly 4 weeks before new tenants moved in, and yet they still barged in at 10 in the morning one day to caulk (seal) my tub. Also, expect to be woken up several times a month by pulled fire alarms, which they can't seem to get control over and keeps you awake for at least 20 minutes. I have seen police here on several occasions due to theft. Finally, every couple of days over the past few weeks, they've been knocking on my door anytime from 10 AM til 5 PM "just to see if I've left yet." STAY AWAY!
I rented from fall '07 through summer '09.

We lived on the second floor of Cedarbrook on the side facing Beaver Avenue. I'm guessing it's because of our location, but the realtor were big jerks. They threatened to always close off our balcony, claiming we were throwing things off the balcony,
even when no one was home. It was a great place to live, but not the best landlord.
