School Lane House Apartments are horrible!! My ceiling fell in twice, my tub continues to peel because they use regular paint, there are mentally challenged people hanging around the first and second floors...they linger and wander the floors begging for money. The gym is a joke, half of the equipment (what little there is) doesn't work. The elevators are always broken and sometimes smell like urine. Security, what security? Just because you may or may not have to sign in doesn't make it secure. They control the heat so you are either cold or burning up and the old pipes in the building make very, very loud noises in the night. The laundry facilities are disgusting and expensive, they don't wash your clothes well at all and many of they dryers don't work...however you don't know that until you try them. I advise you not to move in. It is not safe here and this is the only place I know where everyone I've spoken to is ready to move out. I rented from summer '08 through summer 10. ...

Warning! Moving in this dump will only make life worse! Mice, roaches, horrible smells in the hallway, pissy broken elevators that leave people trapped inside, nasty basement and laundry room don't forget to ask to go down there for the tour, looks nice in the lobby and that's it! the exercise machines don't work, management changes every year and becomes more of a pain in the ass, rent late fees of $50 asessed to bills after 2 days of due date, management team has no problem getting over on you, kitchen and bathrooms are cruddy, be sure to bring duck tape to hold your place together and coverup dirty vents and seal shut disgusting kitchen shelves I rented from fall '05 through spring '07. ...
