This place is super close to campus, and is great if most of your classes are along 21st Street.
The appliances and bathrooms are a bit old, but I've seen much worse in West Campus. Some units have wood floors, but ours is carpeted and it was pretty
clean. Washer/dryer is included, which is a plus, but the kitchen is tiny. All the rooms have ceiling fans, which is nice for keeping down the utility bill.
Speaking of utilities, water and gas are included, you pay for electricity, cable, and internet.
Every apartment has 2 parking spots, some of them are covered, most of them are gated. We got lucky and got 2 gated spots, 1 covered (we just switched off). Parking is included in rent.
We never had any major maintenance issues, my only real complaint is that the upstairs neighbors are either morbidly obese or the walls are all super thin, because I can hear them walking around, along with their music and guitar-playing.
Also, some of the units face the back alley -- avoid these! I lived in one of them, and you can hear the garbage trucks outside your window at 5 in the morning. There's also homeless people in the back alley sometimes late at night, and a frat house a little further down, so it can get noisy unless you face the front or the side.
When we lived here, it was $1350 for a 2 bed/2 bath, so we each paid $687.50 per month, which isn't bad for West Campus, but prices seem to be rising, so good luck getting that rent.
I rented from fall '08 through summer 10.
