My experience began in phase one with three other roommates. They were not the best, for they did the normal college routine of bringing home random guys, drinking underage, and doing drugs. Because of this I did not have the best experience having to constantly clean after them. After moving to a different location, I had a better two week experience until the force move out due to Covid-19, and I enjoyed UO way more! This semester, I have no roommates and the only complaint I have is the slow wifi and the noise from "The Block" down the street. My recommendation, however, is to focus on Phase 1, and fixing issues like wifi and just the essence of its oldness! ...

I stayed at University Oaks for my first year of undergrad and I was very disappointed with my experience, and would not highly recommend it to anyone else. The pictures and reviews are very inaccurate, and they mostly give prizes/gifts to people who give proof of submitting good reviews. The rates as far as rent are not worth what is given. It was a great way to teach incoming students not to settle for the first apartment you see or settle just because it's considered "on campus" ...

While Covid has cut out all outside activities including using the pools or basketball court, you’ll find that University oaks isn't the worst place to stay as the no curfew gives you complete autonomy on when you want to come and go from your apartment. Though maintenance issues are prevalent the maintenance team responds quickly to request. I think you’ll both love and hate university oaks. You will love it because it’s better than staying at a dorm, but you’ll hate it because it’s still has characteristics of a dorm, but that’s the best you’ll find at such a low price. ...
