I'm a previous tenant from several years ago when I was attending school. It was a terrible experience then and, apparently, it hasn't improved. Potential renters should know that Skylane Apts serves primarily a disenfranchised market and attracts
residents who would unlikely be able to rent elsewhere due to their inability to pass drug and criminal background checks, income issues, unemployment issues, and poor credit ratings. Skylane knows this and exploits their residents accordingly.
There are several resources available to those considering renting or who are now renting from from a Skylane property. These web resources should be consulted before any decision is made regarding deposits, complaints, lawsuits, etc.
