I moved in at the end of July. My apartment wasn't ready on my move in date. I had to argue with the management to take something off of my rent for the inconvenience. The main reason I moved here was for the fitness center. I guess that was a bad idea
since the fitness center has been shut down for two months. The original reason was due to "vandalism" then they changed the reason to broken equipment. The broken equipment was taken out of there but its still closed. I asked if they could take something off the rent due to me not having access to the fitness center and I was told "We don't do that." I talked to the property manager's boss and he incorrectly told me it would be open within a few days. I've had multiple maintenance request. The maintenance men/women barely speak English and its hard for you to communicate. As of right now, I have an unresolved service request that has been on file for a month. I called the office and they tried to blame it on me. saying the door must have been locked. Only one lock can be accessed from outside and they have the key to it. I was then asked if I had pets or a security system, two questions that are answered on the service request. I only find 2 leasing agents in the office pleasant and I have decided to deal only with those two in the future. For the most part when you go in the office with an issue, you seem to be bothering the staff. There are cheaper apartments in the area and the amenities The Steeples offer are not always guaranteed to be available. My Cousin and I split the bills and rent.
I rented from summer 10 through summer 11.
