The landlord is terrible! If you are having problems with noisy neighbors, the landlord will not respond to your phone calls or help with solving the issue. I personally have problems with my upstairs neighbors who like to walk hard and makes thumping and banging noises all day long like they are "The Monsters." I've been having this problem since August 2008 and it still isn't resolved. She will only provide the neighbors with "noise violation notices" until you give up and move out. When she gets exhausted with your issue, she will then suggest you to move out. Very rude and unhelpful. The walls are also VERY thin so you can hear everything. The master bedroom is located next to the stairwell. If you are a person that enjoys quietness, Encino Canyon is not the complex you will not want to live in.
