Since the change of staff in the office sometime earlier this year. Things have gone WAY downhill around Canyon Point. The staff seems to pass the buck, lie, cover up, and make empty promises ever since the office staff changed. Communication between the people in the office staff and the maintenance crew is terrible. The office is nothing but disfunction. As you will see with some of the photos I will post out apartment was poorly "made-ready". There is a terrible amount of things that had to be documented on our "move in condition form". We took several photos for documentation. Now were here once again, and this is an example of the confusion that the office staff causes) being told two different things, a few weeks in after moving in, with numerous problems literally nearly 20-something seperate work orders worth. We are having to baby-sit the office and the maintenance staff with thier shoddy work and hound them to come out and fix problems that should have been taken care of long before we moved in. Unfortunatly we were under the impression that things were going to be great and were made grand promises. The unit we saw like ours before moving in, was MUCH nicer. We felt the wool was pulled over our eyes and now we are stuck. My advise, as I told our old upstairs neighbor and few other friendly neighbors in our old building. MOVE out the next chance you have! Our old upstairs neighbor took our advise and is moving elsewhere. Too bad, things weren't handled better, We could have been there best "friends" and wrote a glowing review. Suggestions for possible future tenants, make sure to check out every aspect of the apartment you are moving into, floor plans, NIEGHBORS (up, down and around), visit the property several times and at different times of the day, check out cars in the parking lots (what kind and in what condition)... If possible ask to see more than one unit like the one you want. I rented from spring '08 through winter '09. ...
