Maintenance is the worst. They never fix any problems and don't seem to care even when you have mold growing in your bathroom that you alone cannot fix. I rented from fall 2016 through winter 2017.

I would NOT recommend this place. Aspen Ridge SUCKS. You will not get your deposit back, they will not answer maintenance requests (It took me a month one time- I called 10 times and sent numerous emails). My car was broken into and they said oh well, it was my fault (even though nothing was left out - no ipod or anything). We worked our butt off for cleaning checks and still failed. I really enjoyed living at Old Academy. The apartments were easy to keep clean, and any maintenance problems we had were solved quickly. I loved the location, next to the Provo library and the Museum of Peoples and Cultures (where I worked). And there is the option to park above or below ground. Whoever says management here responds fast is probably management themselves shilling on the reviews. Anyway, the place is pretty but not worth the hassle of dealing with their Aspen Ridge management. Also, while there's parking, cars are often robbed since it's underground. Don't live here! The apartments are dirty and the landlords are totally unreasonable. They forced me to move out the day of graduation even though no one was moving in and their move-in date was so late, I had to be homeless for a week before my contract began. The parking spaces are so small, it's impossible to get away from parking there without a ding in your car. Awful! I rented from fall '09 through winter 10. ...

Location was great since I liked to study at Provo Library. Management charged ridiculous fees. My roomate had a lot of problems with her checkout. The guys there are ok but aren't as social as some of the other complexes. My car was also broken into since security rarely watches the underground garage. Great apartments with lots of room in the common areas. Location is great if you have a lot of classes on the south end of campus. Underground parking fills up fast in the winter and I know a lot of cars were broken into. Management straight up sucked. The apartments are nice but definitely not worth the money to live there. It was very difficult to deal with the management and they were never polite. I was never refunded my deposit and our family lawyer is currently looking into their business practices. It was very frustrating and not worth the quality of the apartment. Landlord, price, and parking are only given a rating of 1 since it is not possible to leave it blank. Aspen Ridge Management is terrible. Each of the roomates along with other apartments in the ward were over charged without notice from management. Maintenance was non-responsive and there were numerous counts of break-ins in the parking garage. Although the location is nice and the buildings are relatively new it was a terrible experience. Still has that "new apartment" smell. Thorough cleaning checks make that possible. If only management took it upon themselves to use those standards to keep the elevators clean. Several cars got broken into last semester in the underground parking. Management does not return phone calls, especially when they are about problems in the apartments. It took them two weeks to get our internet working when we moved in. Our ceiling would drip when it rained. Management was aware of that problem over a year ago(the guys who rented before us tried to get it fixed). There was very little social life among the four floors as they are in different wards. Same-day maintenance; brand new everything; heating and cooling work great. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. There is always parking - and guest parking on that ramp thing.
