Living here was a HUGE mistake. The landlords don't care about their tenants at all and they will do everything they semi-legally can to get every last cent they possibly can out of you. The places are nasty and poorly kept up. Stay away and don't give
these people your money. I lived here just last year so my info is up to date.

Terrible management. TERRIBLE! The online good thing about living here is the location close to BYU. They do not take care of their apartments. They are dirty, overpriced, and the management does not know how to communicate with their tenants.
I
rented from spring 11 through summer 11.

Never ever rent from Alpine Apartments. When I moved in, I had no mattress, hot water, or air conditioning. On the bright side, I did have a bunch of crap left by the last tenant along with a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned for months. They were also
kind enough to leave all of their old food and dishes. And management was nice enough to let us clean it. We found mushrooms, mold, and the shower wall had completely rotted through. Parking is nice enough if you want to pay $150 a year for it. It is WAY over priced or what you get. Utilities are crazy high because they won't fix the weather stripping under the door. Jack is nice enough but his wife is horrible. Again, do NOT rent here.

The upper level 4-person units are NOT meant for 4 people. Even with bunk beds, there was barely room for one desk and one dresser. What was provided was totally insufficient and I ended up having to buy an additional dresser. The washer leaked all
over the floor, leading to Lake Erie II in our kitchen with every single load (lots of slipping in the water and constant wet socks). When we spoke to the landlord about it, he told us we were using too much detergent so we tried running it without detergent. It still gushed water everywhere and he never came to fix it.
The management was awful. The place is run by this guy Jack and his son Jack Jr (they are also the maintenance men). Whatever you do, don't call Jackie Jr in the middle of his WOW session. When we signed out contracts, Jack Jr promised my roommates and I the 4 spots in a single apartment, and when we showed up to move in, not only was there still some chick squatting in the apartment, but they had completely lost my one roommate's contract! Some random luggage and stuff was left in our closet that belonged to Jack's daughter and she was supposed to come get it -- she never did.
I thought it was a BYU requirement to have cleaning checks... we never did, which seems nice, except that nobody before us had even had them either so the place was gross from the moment we moved in.
Parking is a disaster. You take your life in your hands when you enter the underground parking. Also, when my parents came to visit during Thanksgiving, my mom's car wasn't in the parking lot 20 minutes before it got towed away (I wish I was exaggerating).
Basically, I left after just one semester.
I rented from fall '07 through fall '07.

The covered parking is great IF you are willing to shell out the $100 a year for your own spot. There's no place for guests to park, so your social life is committed to your ward that has an AMAZING Bishop, but the ratio for girls to guys is REALLY bad.
There are a lot of fun people here, but the ward is young with both guys and girl so it's not smart for the average student. We had a lot of problems with the management and inconstancies through out the year. This place is quiet and not as fun as other places near here.
I rented from spring '07 through winter '08.
