I lived at Newport Village and the apartment was very nice. However, not all of Newport Village is leased by the same company. If we had been under different management, we would have stayed. We leased our apartment from Old Mill Realty, by far the worst management company I have ever encountered in my life. They were completely unprofessional, running the business out of their home. They were always unreachable, never, EVER answering the phone numbers given. We had several problems with maintenance and it took weeks of endless calls to finally get someone over to fix them. Additionally, I had a crazy roommate who broke contract rules and Old Mill Realty refused to abide by the SIGNED CONTRACT and would not evict her. They tried to scam us into paying way more money than was contractually agreed, and Steve, the owner, always laid on the sexual innuendo very thick. NEVER RENT FROM ANY PROPERTIES OWNED BY OLD MILL REALTY. However, Newport Village is a lovely place to be if you have different management. It would be nice if they had a clubhouse.
