Amazing landlord and in the heart of downtown! My 4 roommates and I lived here our sophomore-senior year while we attended UW -Madison. The amount of space for the price tag is unbeatable, perfect for 5 college girls!

La Ciel has an excellent location. I was very pleased with the staff, always fixed our issues within 24 hours. Although the noise could be an issue, it all depends on your floor and what kind of students live there.

Landlord is ok. Don't expect your apartment to be clean when you move in; it won't be. Also, repair guys come in a leave a mess which you're expected to clean up. Lots of fire alarms; elevators break nearly every weekend (a pain when you live on the 5th or high floors). Stoves and microwaves are ancient. The couches it comes with are nice- if they're new, which ours were. Beds are junk- our bunk threatens to be blown over by a small breeze. Our room (corner room) also has NO seal on the windows; my roommate had to wear gloves to type on her computer near them, it got so cold. I rented from summer '07 through summer '08. ...
