Place was filthy when I moved in. Even had to change the toilet seat because it was rotting. The building wasn't even secure. Back door was left open on a regular basis. Maintenance did nothing about it even though I called. I cleaned the whole place from top to bottom when I moved out. They charged me for 3 hours of cleaning. It was a 300Sq Foot apartment and I think of myself as a clean freak and it wouldn't even take me 3 hours to clean it. Do not rent from this company. I would have never rented from Apex because their reputation in town is well known, but the property I live in was taken over by them mid-lease. Requests for maintenance are treated as a nuisance by office staff--I was told to look for another place to live because I asked them to send someone over to take out all the trash left by previous tenants.
