Overall experience was ok. It was located right across the AS university Tempe campus. Amenities were good and most of the staff were friendly. Price could be a little cheaper for the size of the apt.

As a college student only working part time, when looking for apartments it was important that I find something affordable. Compared to the high rise apartments surrounding University Pointe, they offer better prices as well as a more homey feel.
Overall, my experience with UP has been a good one and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, quaint place for school.

In the two years I lived at Campus Pointe I repeatedly and frequently confronted the management about multiple problems in the building that affected my health and safety. For instance I saw a homeless person (not always the same person) sleeping in the
elevator or the laundry room or the courtyard at least once per week. People from other apartment complexes used to use the basketball courts and pool and would drink and smash beer bottles all over the place...one of them damaged my car by backing into it. There was always graffiti in the building, especially in the elevator. The elevator often had puddles of urine on the floor. Multiple apartments in the building were burglarized including mine. Multiple cars in the parking lot were broken into, and I heard about one being stolen. Management refused to do anything about any of these problems. I was told to simply call the police....I did, frequently. There was also the worst roach infestation I have ever seen. It was so bad I NEVER ate at home, and would sometimes wake up at night to a roach crawling on me. Management would supply a pest company that would come once a week to spray, but it never worked. Plus my apartment was above 85 degrees every day in the summer (not by my choice) because of their inadequate chiller system. The building at the time was managed by MEB management....I will NEVER live in a building managed by those slumlords again! If I could rate 0 stars I would!
I rented from winter '06 through winter '08.

The management is very nice, but they are not good about notifying you when, for example, some other apartment in your building is flooded and this means that your air conditioning must be turned off for a week. The rooms are large and everything
electrical works (even the stove!). Unfortunately, this complex is plagued by small cockroaches. This is especially a problem as the temperature rises. On a positive note, the complex is usually quiet (families live here too) and very close to campus, a nearby grocery store, and a bus route that will take you to the local library. The shower water is always hot (or cold, as you like it) and there is plenty of parking (though sometimes you have to park in the guest lot).
I rented from winter '08 through spring '08.
