Student sponsored housing sucks. I lived here for 3 quarters, in 4 different apartments. The art institute gives less than 3 days notice to move you for "consolidation" whenever they damn well please. Two of my apartments had SEVERE mold issues. One of them had bedbugs. I withdrew from the school because of this shitty housing and got stuck with a $40,000+ bill. Things are always broken, and maintenance requests are filed in the housing director's ass. The light fixtures were broken in my bathroom in two of the apartments I lived in... and were never fixed. The AC units leak all over the carpet. I also had a stovetop that was unusable because it crackled and sparked when turned on. And if you don't check these things as broken when you move in, they'll fine you for repairs. And by repairs I mean "repaint everything". Oh, and they also have you sign away all your state-entitled tenant rights before you move in. Fuck this place.
