I have had a bad experience here also. The managers seem to prefer hispanics over other racial groups. They allow people to come here that break the rules but they don't seem to listen if the people complaining are non hispanic. We've had numerous problems with lots of noisy neighbors and trash and little security. If it weren't for the fact that it's my college next door, I'd be out of here in a heart beat. I have lived at Jade Tree Apartments for over 5 years and let me tell you, absolutely terrible! The manager Martha and her husband are totally asleep at the wheel. Where do I begin? When I first came there, the residents were mixed racially but since Martha and her husband took over they rent only to those people from the south (and even better if they have a lot of children). They hate hearing complaints about noisy disrespecful neighbors or problems with the apartment. I once had mold in the caucing in my bathroom and called Martha to ask if they could replace the caucing and she said no, that "maybe if I learned to keep the apartment clean I wouldn't have mold." Two of us have had our car broken into, they do nothing for you after hours, even if you call the emergency line . . . oh yeah, that line didn't even work. They can't spell or write the english language beyond the 3rd grade level and sometimes when they send you a letter you can't understand it. Just terrible!
