Casa Alberta came under new management this summer and they have turned the entire complex into a noise- and dust-filled construction zone. For weeks on end, I have been waking up to the sounds of jackhammering, heavy equipment, and construction workers
yelling at an ungodly hour. I have no idea when this work is going to end, if ever, and I don't see what benefits the so-called "improvements" will provide me. In fact, one of the newly-built entrances will likely allow easier access for the thieves who regularly case the carports, strip parts from bicycles stored there, and occasionally break into vehicles. Also, the new management has been enacting unhelpful policies, such as more restrictive laundry room hours that will probably cause more crowding in the laundry rooms.
My recommendation: steer clear of this complex.
I rented from spring '04 through summer '09.
