Living so close to school is totally worth the cost, since I barely use gas. The amenities are amazing and convenient. I've never had a bad experience with the staff. They have always been friendly and willing to help when it comes to leasing, as well as repair requests. Parking is great as well, very secure and sage. ...

I lived at Regents La Jolla for 2 years, in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Overall, it was a positive experience, the complex has many amenities that could be considered luxurious relative to other local apartment complexes (a movie theater for example). The quality of the apartment was good, and maintenance generally was timely with repairs. There are multiple transit stops that are walking distance which provide quick transportation to UCSD. However, there were issues with safety in the residents' parking garage and I felt it was handled poorly by property management. A few times there were incidences of car break-ins, and I personally had my car broken into while parked in the GATED and protected residents garage. Security was no where to be found, nor was any security footage. The staff did little to assuage resident concerns or compensate for the thefts, nor did they take accountability for poor security protocols. This was the biggest fault to my experience living at Regents La Jolla apartments. ...

Pros: -Regents La Jolla has nice facilities such as a small gym and swimming pool -The bus stop is right across the street which is considerably convenient when commuting to school It is also walking distance to restaurants, the park, and a small drive away from UTC -Close proximity to UC San Diego Cons: -Parking is limited to two spots in the parking structure which can be difficult if you live with 2+ people with cars -Sometimes I woke up to construction noises outside my window -Cost of living can be a bit pricey but that is common for living in La Jolla ...
