if you are not Asian or White, they will tell you your credit must be almost 800 to qualify , regardless of how much you make. I’m 8 months pregnant and I applied for a one bedroom with my sister in law who has perfect credit and was denied even after one of the mangers explained to me that they only go by whoever’s credit was better(for a one bedroom) then said the policy changed a few days later and now they go by both applicants credit after we payed a 100$ application fee,mind you we make more than 3x the rent. it’s honestly a great way to keep certian ethnic groups out quite frankly.
