While the location is good for engineering students, there were quite a few issues with the apartment. Maintenance requests were not dealt with in a timely manner causing issues. Furthermore, the state of the apartment was far below standards.

It is perfect if you want to be nearby the heart of west campus and still enjoy a quiet space. There are hardly ever any issues as the staff and maintenance crew are always understanding. The gym is also a great plus!

It has not been easy. I wish I could say I had a better experience but sometimes I feel like my apartment is limiting from fully absorbing as much from my classes as I wish I could. Especially with covid, I'm really relying on my apartment to provide
with me with more support and I feel that it's been hindering me.

26 West was very "average" at best, in comparison to the other apartments in West Campus. The walls are very thin within the apartment so you can hear every conversation perfectly from one room to the next, which can be annoying sometimes. The
maintenance is very fast at fixing things which has been a plus; however, the attention to detail is lacking. Most of the apartments have paint speckles all over the floor that cannot be removed, which gives the appearance that the floors are dirty. Likewise, the apartments are very dusty due to the uncleaned vents and it is more common than not to own air purifiers to fix the issue. The staff is pretty helpful and very friendly!

I toured the building and it was really nice and spacious; however the lease agreement is really tight and you cannot get out of it no matter what. I was unable to cancel my lease due to COVID and had to pay rent for an apartment I never moved into.
