It is very overpriced for what it is. If you want to live in a giant glorified frat house then these are the apartments for you, if you want to sleep at all or feel at home and safe then I suggest looking somewhere else. The fire alarm goes off at least once every other month in the middle of the night, the security there is very poor and the people that work their are either your friends or they treat you like you are lesser than them. Maintenance will sometimes just show up in your apartment without any warning and (although this isn't Altus' fault) the construction that is all around the building effects every part of my day. Lastly, the wifi is horrible and parking is an extra $100/month for one spot without any guest parking. ...

My experience at Altus has been very relaxing and stress-free as it is close to everything in town as well as the campus. It provides me with a short walk to get to the convenience store as well as restaurants.

With this apartment building being new this year, there are still things that could be improved such as security measures, cleaning and maintenance of common areas, and customer service. The amenities are very nice, HOWEVER the residents have ruined it! There are always holes in the walls and people ruin the environment. This would be a nice place if the people did not ruin it. This is also a very party heavy apartment, so beware.
