Cotswold is a great area of Charlotte to live in with lots of shopping, dining, and parks nearby. Plus CPCC Central campus is a short 15 minute drive. Uptown Charlotte is also 15 minutes away with lots of entertainment such as Blumenthal and many other performance venues. Tons of breweries and trendy restaurants a short drive away. The apartment complex itself is really cheap given the more affluent area it is situated in. You get what you pay for: great location, older and outdated apartments. I have lived in 2 different apartments in this complex. One was in better condition than the other. One had way more maintenance issues and older appliances. It seems if previous tenants do not take care of apartments, management does not care about repairs. Neighbors are nice, everyone is friendly and waves or says hello. For a low-income college student to help make ends meet and not waste money on rent while pulling out college loans, this is fine. Would not recommend after college. Also, the train line is a stone's throw away and VERY loud. I think some people in this area find it annoying, but honestly I rarely notice and you get used to it fast and sleep right through it.
