I really loved my time living at Park on Morton. POM hosts a lot of free breakfasts, giveaways, and opportunities to meet your neighbors. It's the perfect atmosphere for students, your neighbors are typically nice or quiet, and maintenance was really good about responding to your requests in a timely manner. I did have a few neighbors that violated the no-smoking rule once or twice and one who held the occasion party, but they weren't too bad. The computer lab in the main office building only has one printer and the computer lab in general was mostly unreliable, but if it was operable and you had paper then you were good. Overall, really loved the spacious modern apartments with in-unit laundry, dishwasher, full size fridge, oven, stove, full xl size beds, and working air conditioning/heating. As compared to other large apartment complexes in Bloomington, the Park on Morton has a down-to-earth and relaxing environment. When the pool is open, the smaller space as compared to apartments like Evolve means that it is more personable and friendly. The street noise as wall thickness is the buildings biggest downfall; one trade-off for the location being excellent walking distance from bars and restaurants. If you cannot find a great house to live at with some close friends, the Park on Morton is a (somewhat) pricey alternative that I have generally enjoyed living in.
