Up until two years ago, I would have said that it was alright to live in Fountain Club apartments. Then, the housing market changed, people lost their houses and moved back into apartments. Fontain Club allowed this rift-raft to move into a secure
building & break the doors so they were no longer secure. I called for month to ask them to fix the door and they gave on excuse after another. People who no not live in the building hang out in the lobby, in front of the building and on the kids' playgrounds. Their response time on fixing the door was months later but now the loiterers just put the rug in the door to prop it open. Tenants slam doors at all hours. I asked after 7 years to have them update the apartment because I noticed that a new neighbor had newer paint, floors, bathroom, and kitchen. I was told that they don't update currently occupied places. Ok my appliances are so old they must be a fire hazard by now. I have never lived in a place that didn't offer to deep clean the floors, update the paint on the walls or something after a tenant is in the place for over a year. Trifling and sad to see that you treat new people without good track records for paying every month on time, better then long term tenants. WOW!!! I pay over $1000 for a 1-bdrm and I live in a un-secure building with no up-dating done and now with dogs. I moved in because they didn't allow pets and now dogs are everywhere. They are in the laundry room, running the halls and in the lobby unleashed at all. My neighbors have been attacked and robbed. When I first moved into the building if any crime did happen, we got a notice about it, now you only find out if the victim knows you and chooses to tell you. One year, a vendor who the apartment management let into my apartment, when through my stuff and left me a love letter on my coffee table. If you want a safe home, with management who has control of the building, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!
I rented from fall '02 through winter '09.
