I would probably give zero stars if I could. When I first moved into my apartment my mother and I could not get over the absolute filth that had accumulated in such a small 4x4. No microwave had been cleaned, the fans had years worth of dust collected waiting to give someone an asthma attack, I personally found used underwear still in my dresser drawer, and the staff hadn’t even attempted to vacuum the small bed room. This was only the start of the issues. In the year that I lived there my roommates and I dealt with: car break ins (I informed the office and asked if they could send an email and I was not going to involve the police, the did not send an email), painters attempting to force their way into our apartment with out informing us, doors left open during a tropical storm at turn over that created mold and mildew in the carpeting, un-working appliances, roaches, leaking doors, black mold in the bathroom, constantly broken exit signs, undrinkable tal water, and on more than one occasion the building swaying on it’s supports. We lived on the third of four floors and yet we felt the shaking and shivering of the buildings foundations. On multiple occasions I received late rent notices even through my rent was paid on time. On one such occasion I received a 7 day eviction notice posted outside my door. When I confronted the kids at the office their answer: Our bookkeeper is out on vacation and none of us have looked at the mail or personal checks so we just sent out the notices anyway. The final nail in the coffin when was when my roommate and I were never told our renewal leases had be cancelled. We were never given any communication or notice that our leases had been denied or were waiting on signatures, instead we had to figure it out ourselves that we’d be homeless in just over three months. When we confronted the office about this lack of communication they informed us that our building was to be renovated and all of the residents were being moved or their leases had been cancelled. When we asked why an email was never sent they informed us they were going over the writing with corporate and were sending an email to inform the 70 plus students soon. An email was never sent. I have had multiple pleasant experiences with the staff but overall the living experience at the osceola was one of the worst I have ever had to survive and I hope they make effort to do better. ...

I am a parent of a student living here. I have no reason to lie. I promise and positive reviews are fake. We just filed a complaint with the State Attorney General’s office. They blocked us on social media. Seriously. Imagine blocking your residents instead of fixing a fixable issue. Parents do not let your kids move here. It has been a nightmare from move in until now. I SO HAPPY MY KID FOUND ANOTHER PLACE FOR NEXT FALL. ...

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I would rate this place 0/5 stars if I could. Since I've lived here, I have had my apartment flood in the middle of the night. Numerous occasions of roach infestation. Maintenance casually walks in and out of your apartment without any consent or warning; I have also caught them talking negatively about residents whose homes they are in. And I have dealt with my fair share of roommates that tend to steal. However, what has been the most upsetting event occurred earlier this week. My car was broken into and burglarized on The Osceola premises on Monday. Whoever broke into my car did it while I was upstairs going about my day in my apartment. I reported it to the cops, who also informed me to report it to the apartment complex to speak with me and warn the residents. However, since the crime occurred on Monday, I have made more than 20 attempts to talk to the manager; however, he refuses to speak with me. I have called the office numerous times, and I have also shown up in person and emailed them. But I have yet to get anything. The Osceola does NOT care about its residents. If you sign here, you will be dealing with car theft, stealing roommates, and a leasing team that constantly ignores you and gives you the run-around. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. ...

It's a great place to live at. I live in the 4x4 apartments, and the area is the perfect spot. It's not a far walk to FSU campus, and its next to multiple fast-food restaurants. You can also walk to Target which is very convenient if you don't have a car.

The apt itself is substandard with mold growing and many other deficiencies. Many of these deficiencies were reported to the landlord upon moving in and 3 months later they are still not repaired. The property company is a joke and is non-responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend people staying away from properties owned by Booth Properties. ...
