Campus Lodge is only good as far as looks. The staff is incompetent. They are rude and disrespectful. They charge you for things that's not in the lease. They never answer questions. You walk out feeling like they are useless which they are. This is the worst place to live. Their goal is to get your money and mess up you credit. I actually dont mind living here I've never had any real problems with the managment. The maintance team is helpful and it takes a respectable amount of time to fix things, just make every request important. The party's are awesome and the best thing is they sometimes provide drinks and you can stumble home (if that's what you are into of course). DO NOT live here if you in search of pience and quiet. Some residents do not have respect for finals week. People will party on any given day of the week into the wee hours of the morning. Visitor parking sucks and they will tow no matter what day. Good luck finding visitor parking on the weekend. But almost every student apartment has the same problems. Residents have no problem finding parking in the vicinity of thier apartment. Some of the amendments are out of date but if your tv breaks they will give you a brand new flat screen which is pretty cool. What really sucks is during the end of the leasing year they do pretty much inconvenice the people who renew to move out of the common rooms because they will throw away anything that is left. It's a real inconvenience and shouldn't happen. In my instance, I was not in tampa during the move out week and i had to come back so they would not throw away my things. The complex is for the most part safe, just don't be stupid about it. Don't leave valuables showing in your car. I've never felt unsafe there and I am a little girl. I only lived here under the new managment which is not bad. And my last apartment complex was completely horrible (stay away from reflections!) All in All its a good place to live if you don't expect it to be like a 4-star resort or like your living at home. It is what it is, a student apartment and it's not the worst. It just depends on what is important to you. If you are looking to be social and meet new people, this is the place to be! O and it's one of the only student apartments that offers Showtime standard so you won' miss Weeds, Dexter, or Californication etc (but only if that's important to you). This place is terrible! Stuff always breaks and they never fix it. They have rediculouse electricity overages. They also try to get money out of you anyway that they can. If there is something they can find to charge you with they will. They go as far as checking your facebook profile to charge you with things. I know they did it to me. Management in this place is awful. All they care about is trying to screw people out of money and when you go in there trying to resolve a charge that you have know idea what it is and were it came from they give you an attitude and tell you its in the lease. Run away as fast as you can. I lived here for three years and everyone I know that lives here hates it. Management sucks and doesn't care about you, there are roaches, people have been shot here, I've been robbed, everything breaks and they don't fix it, and much much more. The price is okay (495) but then again I live with three other people paying about she same price so they are really getting about $2,000 a month between the four of us for this piece of crap. I lived there a year ago, it is under new management now and the gates actually work. And I paid 795/month b/c I rented the whole 2 bedroom. TINY. I rented from summer '05 through spring '06.
