If you can at all help it, do not move here. If you're a current resident, be careful. There's new property management and they are supposedly going to do all of these improvements and renovations. They've started valet trash--okay, that's nice, and
according to their property management website they're going to do some renovations inside, but it's highly likely any improvements will be at the unnecessary expense of the residents in my opinion. I paid this month's rent on time by check and they stated they never received my check. I'm not sure how the check just disappears, but okay I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. The check is essentially lost, yet I am being required to pay a late fee. Pardon my confusion, but how is it that I have to pay a late fee for a check that the property lost (but won't admit they lost)? Saying you "never received the check" is not sufficient enough reason to stick me with a late fee, in my opinion. You can't just decide you don't believe someone and make them pay extra. That is poor customer service. In my year living here I have been late on the rent one time, which I have no problem admitting because the rent plus late fee were paid IN FULL by the requested date. There was one other incident where they attempted to make me pay a late fee because someone in the leasing office credited my check to another resident's account. That late fee was waived of course because it was made in error, but they never updated the record to reflect that! So now it looks like I've paid my rent late twice--very poor "record keeping." In all of this, what is most disturbing is that no one--from the assistant property manager to the property management company--understands the concept of good customer service. The company is backing the property management in their justification of this RIDICULOUS fee! So I wouldn't count on having them support you if you ever had a complaint. This company is clearly very hungry for $100, so much so that they care very little about retention of their residents and think "I don't know what to tell you, you still have to pay the late fee" is a good explanation for bogus management. My best advice to anyone considering this property is to look elsewhere, and if you must rent here don't pay with a check, only a money order because your word means nothing to these people. The customer can't be right.
Not to mention the maintenance is horrible, the roaches are out of control, the staff is inattentive, and the property could use a pick-me-up. Just stay far away.
