(I've lived here from Aug. 2012 through Aug. 2013. this page just won't let me change the year past 2011) This apartment is new but has an unexperienced owner (you can tell immediately from the 2 page lease agreement) First off, everything from the toilet seat to the paint on the walls inside the apartment is of low quality. I call this apartment a "lemon" because everything looks great until you move in and realize how cheap the stuff used to complete the inside of the apartments is. The NOISE in this apartment building is incredibly bad. Walls are paper thin and you can hear any and all footsteps from upstairs. Good luck trying to sleep at night there!! There's always at least one pretentious black dude blasting his music with his balcony door open (as if we all want to listen to his crap). The way the building was designed makes it so if one idiot has his music blaring, the noise ECHOS throughout the entire building. WHY ARE MOST BLACK PEOPLE SO OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD!? (I'm not racist it's just an observation) Maintenance takes 2 months (minimum) to tend to simplest of tasks (which they can't fix right the first time) plus they lie about stuff they don't want to do for you. There is no one here after hours to take care of ANYTHING either. Throughout the year I've been here my car (and every other car in the parking lot) has been sprayed with a fire extinguisher (owner had them hosed down though), the fire alarm (which is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD) has gone off 3 times due to "faulty wiring", and there have been a couple fists fights broken out. Parking is good though (costs $70 extra) since it's underground and you get your own spot. By the way, you have to drive over to Comcast to pick up your cable box since they won't do it for you. Overall, I'd say the "niceness" is not worth the inconvenience due to the noise. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...
