The apartment doesn't like visitors at all and they make very parking space for the visitors. There prices is high compare to the services but the apartment is cleaned the apartment security system is not functioning well. The management is dubious and they would give the renter one excuse or the others no to refund ur deposits when yu left. It took the pictures of the whole apt. b4 l summited my keys. It took the intervention of my attorney before l could get my deposit back. Pls be careful when dealing with DARBY COURT because they don't want to refund your deposit. I live at the Darby Court Apt for a year, never paid rent late or ever had an issue with management. My repair requests were always processed and taken care of in a timley manner, HOWEVER, they really screw you over when you move out. I paid around 250 in deposits and kept the apt very clean. There were no holes in the walls or stains on the carpet, and nothing broken in the apt either. When I moved out, nothing was left in the apt for the staff to have to throw away. Yet somehow Darby Court still found an additional 300 dollars worth of supposed repairs. Please tell me what needed to be fixed in an apt that would cost $550.00. Nothing that I can think of would cost that much, secondly they charged me an additional months rent, which was 634.00 saying that I did not give them 30 days notice. I did give them 30 days notice and now they say they do not have it. Overall while you live there the place is great but I have never heard of anyone getting their deposit back in any way, and most get charged additional. Also make copies of all your paperwork that way they can not lose your like they "lost" mine. I rented from fall '08 through spring '09. ...
