Save your self the headache ! Rented the effency here on a short term lease for 3 months. The apartment was actually pretty nice but the owner is a big thumbs down ! First I found it on the web and the ad said 1200$ a month, after I contacted him and agreed to rent he said 1600$ a month!! I questioned him and he acted like he was doing me a favor renting it for the price in the ad. After 2 leases one saying I had to pay utilities when the ad said included and one saying I had to pay 6400 for 3 months they lease was finally sorted out and I finally signed the lease for the 3 months. He wanted to be paid the entire 3 months and the deposit up front....ok so paid. Then after 2 months asked to extend for another 20 days. @ wrong leases later finally signed an updated lease for the extra 20 days. He calls and asks if we could move out over the weekend because he "forgot" and rented it to someone else for the holiday weekend.?...REALLY? so we actually did do that for him because there wasn't much there it was a short term just a bed for a few months. then he says we didn't pay for the extra days.....we have to give him the receipt showing we did pay....then he sends a message saying we paid late....again show him the receipt. Move out time comes and we clean and move out perfect walk through all good. text him he says all good we will get our deposit back. .....week later I ask about my deposit...Says I will get it back after utilities clear....remind him utilities were included....oh yea he says well it takes 30 days to process....ok 30 days nothing so I call and text....oh I released that to you Friday you should have it Tuesday....week goes by nothing....oh sorry why don't you contact the maintenance manager for a rewalk thourough....? I moved out 40 days ago dude what the heck are you talking about? Still no deposit will be contacting attorney.....SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE go someplace else!! ...
