I have been living here for 5 months and this has been the worst nightmare of gated community living that I have ever experienced. The property manager is the rudest, most uncooperative person I have ever encountered. Pest control, both inside and outside, is supposed to be done on alternating months. My unit has been visited by pest control once. I have complained numerous times about mice in my unit, and was given glue traps to handle the problem. Today, another tenent was riding a motorcycle on the sidewalk around my building. First, I called the after hours number on my lease, and after waiting for 30 minutes with no reply, my husband went to the office and was told that no one will respond to any pages from that number unless it is the office. 3 hours passed and the problem has still not been addressed, so I complained, the landlord screamed at me, told me that she could not do anything about it because they paid their rent, but the security officer would be notifiedy after 7 p.m. So, my children and pet have been confined to the inside all day because she cannot handle her business. I am glad that I have been transferred away from here and at the end of this month will no longer have to do any business with Highlands or The Bryan Company as they do not even have phone numbers or e-mail to contact them concerning issues.
