I had a two bedroom apartment in this building that had 12 total units. There was one 2 bedroom unit on each floor, and the other three units were one bedrooms. It wasn't super-pretty, but the apartment was big for one in Boston, and the price was good
considering how much space we had. The kitchen was recently redone, and we had an awesome refrigerator. The bathroom left a little to be desired, but I can't complain about it too much. The management company, Boston Realty Associates, were hands-off, but competent. We didn't really see them unless we had a problem. Two or three times during the 2 years I was there, I had small maintenance issues, and they were cleared up within a few days. No real complaints. If you don't like living in Allston, though, this place is not going to be for you.
I rented from spring '05 through fall '07.
